Getting Started with Unity

To get started with the Unity program, it’s probably best to download the Unity app directly from your phone’s app store, as the mobile app is the easiest way to share your QR code to receive rewards.

Once you have an account, your unique QR code, available on both the platform’s website and mobile app, can be scanned when making purchases.

To get started at a casino, you’ll need to head to the Unity Players Club or to one of the contactless enrollment kiosks at a participating Hard Rock Casino; this is where you’ll get a physical Unity Card. How to Earn Tier Credits and Unity Points

Hard Rock Tier Credits and Unity Points are earned simultaneously at a 1:1 ratio. Tier Credits are used to determine your Tier Status in a given calendar year, while Unity Points are a redeemable currency that can be redeemed in place of cash dollars at a rate of one cent per point.

The number of Credits and Points earned per dollar changes depending on what you are spending money on. Very simply, here are the rates:

• 1 Point per $1 spent on non-gaming activities at participating casinos;
• An indefinite amount of Points per $1 spent on casino games, varying by location and game.

📌 While it’s unfortunate that there is no set amount of Hard Rock Unity Points per dollar spent on the casino floor, the varying amount is most likely based on how much house edge a game has, or what the player’s theoretical loss per dollar spent would be. Tier Levels and Benefits With Hard Rock Unity

Unity by Hard Rock has just four Tier Levels, with the final Tier Level, X, being invite-only. That means patrons can only track their progress toward the second and third tiers of the program.

Each of the four Hard Rock Unity tiers is jam-packed with rewards and benefits, though, and that starts right from the first tier, in which all patrons of the program are automatically enrolled.

There are more rewards than those listed below, but here are some of the highlights for each:

X – Invite Only

Your experience is going to be pretty exclusive at this tier. You basically have priority access to everything with a line or reservation system, a bunch of freebies, and are treated like royalty throughout your stay. Here are some things X members are currently enjoying:

• Complimentary limo transport to and from the AC airport;
• Annual $500 Celebration credit at Rock Spar and retail;
• Annual free three-night stay;
• $50 gas every quarter and a weekly car wash;
• Priority access pretty much everywhere;
• Personalized host and retail shopper.

How Long Do Unity Points and Tier Status Last?

Your Tier Status lasts for the remainder of the calendar year in which it was obtained, plus 14 months.

📌 For example, if you earned a particular Tier Status at any point during 2024, it would expire on February 29, 2026.

Unity Points last 180 days, and the timer is refreshed every time you earn more Unity Points. Spending Unity Points won’t stop your balance from expiring, so keep your expiration date in mind when you visit a Hard Rock location. The Unity app will remind you before your points expire if you have notifications enabled.

Tier Match With Other Casinos

It’s also worth pointing out that if you head to Unity Players Club at your Hard Rock Casino of choice, they will match your tier to a range of other NJ-based casinos. There are plenty of T&Cs that go with a tier match, so make sure to check them out if you are planning to use this option. If you do hold a higher tier with another casino, don’t sign up to Unity until you’ve told them about it; you’ll get more rewards that way.

Redeeming Unity Points

Unity Points are a redeemable currency that can be used in place of cash at participating Hard Rock locations for dining, retail, hotels, and lounges. Casino players can redeem Unity Points for Free Play at participating casinos.

The app comes in a small package under 70MBs in size and is available as a single app that covers the globe, though it is only available in English.

The Transition from Wild Card Rewards in NJ

If you’ve ever played at Hard Rock Casino and Hotel Atlantic City, you may have come across the Wild Card Rewards program, which has now been replaced by the Unity program. Any Wild Card Rewards Points or Tier Credits held by patrons have been transferred.

Hard Rock hasn’t provided a great deal of detail about the transition itself, but states that all pre-existing Hard Rock Casino AC-specific benefits will remain intact; it is actually more likely that these same benefits will now extend to all participating Hard Rock casinos, which is great news for those who travel.

Responsible Gambling and T&Cs

While the Unity program offers some nice rewards and benefits, it’s never worth chasing Unity Points or Unity Tier Credits by gambling more than you otherwise would have.
