regulators in new jersey will start analyzing monthly gaming revenue by operator

We’ve been speculating about who the best operators in New Jersey are for years. We will now have more conclusive proof as of April 16.

The state will alter how it displays income data for NJ authorized online casinos and NJ sportsbooks, according to the Division of Gaming Enforcement.

The DGE will start dividing out income by license holder instead of per individual skin to improve transparency surrounding those reports.

Improved Transparency for New Jersey’s Gaming Revenue

For many years, the land-based Atlantic City casino partner’s monthly income from sports betting and iGaming has been aggregated by the DGE, combining all online skins into a single package.

The DGE will provide statistics per specific operator this month, including NJ sports betting and online gaming revenue from March.

Furthermore, the DGE will incorporate this practice in its rerelease of the income statistics for January and February.

The DGE said in a statement that stakeholders and the general public would be able to comprehend the operations of particular iGaming and sports wagering operators more clearly by receiving more in-depth, surface-level revenue statistics.

Who is the Best?

FanDuel has been regarded as the titan of legal gambling in the Garden State ever since entering the sports betting and later the NJ online casino industries.

Many think that by 2023, FanDuel Casino NJ will have helped the Golden Nugget license earn $2.1 billion in revenue. The main contributor to Meadowlands Racetrack’s $1.9 billion in sports betting revenue, by far the highest amount in the state, has undoubtedly been FanDuel Sportsbook NJ.

However, all of this conjecture has been predicated on shaky statistics, such as Eilers & Krejcik indicating that FanDuel leads the country in retention rates, and vocal remarks made by CEOs of the companies during earnings calls, such as Jason Robins of DraftKings remarking that they are winning.
