The apparel and merchandise company announced that it would shortly transition to Fanatics Sportsbook in New Jersey, after many months of operation as PointsBet, A Fanatics Experience.
According to a representative, the company plans to complete the transition to the Fanatics-only brand the week of April 29. This brand will be linked to both its NJ online casino and sportsbook in the New Jersey online casino and sports betting sectors.
Fanatics NJ Wants to Make a Name for Itself in the Cutthroat Online Gaming Market
Fanatics uses the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford’s sports wagering license to run their NJ online sportsbook. Bally’s Atlantic City gaming license is used by the Fanatics Casino NJ product.
The gaming arm of Fanatics Holdings Inc., Fanatics Betting & Gaming, was established in 2021. Fanatics gained almost immediate market access to New Jersey in September 2023 when they paid $225 million for PointsBet’s US online gaming assets.
Fanatics has increased PointsBet’s market share even though it entered the online gaming space a little later.
The gambling authorities in New Jersey will make monthly financial data and individual online operator information available for the first time later this month.
