Borgata AC Turned Another Player Into a Millionaire in July
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in AC has awarded a player more than $1 million for the second time this year.
On July 14, a player at the AC casino’s table game under the name of Jin won $1.5 million with a $5 progressive side wager. Jin’s bet caused the AGS “Bonus Spin Xtreme” wheel to spin, stopping on the Triple Diamond prize.
Another Casino Millionaire in Atlantic City
According to a press release, the recent win at the Borgata in Atlantic City is the biggest single progressive payout in AGS’s history.
This wasn’t even the biggest jackpot Borgata awarded to a player in 2023, though. On May 19, a person playing the $5 Wheel of Fortune slot machine won $2.9 million.
There were nine jackpots of $1 million or more in 2023 thus far, not considering side bets like Jin’s, according to the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement. Only three of them happened in an AC casino.
According to the NJ DGE, 871 jackpots of $50,000 or more were paid out in 2023. The combined jackpots are slightly shy of $93 million.
