The best-performing casino in Atlantic City is renovating an entire hotel tower for $55 million as part of its 20th-anniversary celebrations.

According to a press statement, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa‘s Water Club will undergo renovations and get a new name: the MGM Tower. More than 700 rooms, a variety of opulent suites, and an event area of 9,000-square-foot are all part of the hotel’s renovation.

The parent company of Borgata, MGM Resorts International, said that accommodations in the MGM Tower will be accessible by April. The project is expected to be done by the weekend of Memorial Day.

The COO of MGM Resorts, Corey Sanders, stated the business is certain that these large investments will sustain Atlantic City tourism for a very long time.

By introducing the MGM Tower, MGM Resorts will be able to connect Borgata with its world-class resort and entertainment offerings.

The largest casino hotel in AC, the Borgata, debuted in July 2003.
