Hard Rock Has Announced Two Senior Appointments
Joe Lupo and Anthony Faranca have been selected by Hard Rock as the property presidents of the forthcoming Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, respectively.
Lupo’s hiring is contingent upon regulatory clearance as a result of Hard Rock’s $1.08 billion acquisition of the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from MGM Resorts. The deal was agreed upon in December 2021.
In 2018, Lupo was appointed president of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. He formerly served as president of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa. Once Hard Rock obtains its license from the Nevada Gaming Commission, Lupo is anticipated to take on the position
Jim Allen, the Hard Rock International Chairman, claims that Joe Lupo has earned outstanding achievements in his four years as president of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City. As a consequence of his hard work and competence, financial results continue to exceed expectations, and Hard Rock team members share an unrivaled passion for providing excellent customer satisfaction. Allen is certain that Joe will succeed even more at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
Faranca will start work on the new position on the 1st of September. In the past, he has managed property in Maryland, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Faranca started his career as a guest services manager at the four Caesars Atlantic City hotels, before being elevated to regional vice president of national casino marketing. Later on, at Palms Casino Resort, he eventually became vice president and general manager of the establishment.
