Poker players in the Northeast now get some significant Borgata tournament news after months of uncertainty. The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will host a live major series once more. Together with Borgata, BetMGM Poker will present “The Return” series from January 4 to January 8.

Poker players will be able to participate in four events in Atlantic City. Additionally, a live qualifying competition will be held. The January competitions will guarantee prize pools of nearly $4 million. Borgata made the formal declaration earlier through a press release on November 1.

The return of championship poker to Borgata has been anticipated for quite a long time now, according to Vincent Alonge Jr., Director of Poker Operations.

Borgata informed that on November 9, qualifications will be published on the BetMGM Poker app. The Borgata Poker Room and Central Conference Center will be the location of all live events for The Return.

The Borgata’s Main Event will be held from January 4 to 8. There is an outstanding $3 Million guaranteed prize pool for the $5,300 buy-in tournament. The tournament also offers a first-place prize of at least $1 million!

On January 2, the series will also feature a mystery bounty event. In the world of poker, mystery bounties are a well-known phenomenon. Players that eliminate another player are given an envelope containing an unidentified gift.

Players can win large with mystery bounties, but until the envelope is opened, they are unaware of the reward they received. For this competition, the top mystery prize will be worth $250,000.

Players will now have the opportunity to win access through online satellites in addition to the live qualifications. Online Main Event registration will be open to NJ online poker players between December 1 and December 31. Live registration in person begins on January 2. Players will be able to sign up using the BetMGM poker app, according to the Borgata website.
