Borgata’s Fall Mini-Series is Back with a Guaranteed Payout of $1 Million
It was recently revealed that a major tournament series will take place this autumn at Borgata AC from September 26 to October 1.
According to Kellie Decilis, Director of Poker Operations at Borgata, the company spoke with several players to find out which events they missed the most. Borgata will hold the 8 Max Championship event, PLO/No limit Holdem Mix, and a $1,000 reward.
The live event series will be hosted at Borgata Atlantic City, which is home to one of the most famous Atlantic City poker rooms. There will also be live satellite tournaments for NJ online poker qualifiers. The mentioned prize pools for the competitions total $1 million in guaranteed awards.
The 8 Max Championship, which runs from September 27 to 30, will be the largest event of the Borgata Poker Fall Series. A $500,000 guaranteed prize pool will be offered in the $2,500 buy-in tournament.
The much-awaited Saturday Series is also returning. Due to the fact that it was a one-day event, the pre-pandemic tournament was always well-attended. Numerous Weekend Warriors attend these tournaments. This event is scheduled for September 30 and will cost $800. There is a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000.
Online satellites will also provide NJ poker players a chance to win a buy-in. The winners of these online competitions will enter the live main event right away.
Online qualifying for the main event will be offered by BetMGM NJ starting the weekend of September 8. Players can join major tournaments using online satellites without risking their whole bankroll.
