PlayStar Casino Launch in New Jersey Scheduled for Q4 2021
PlayStar was previously focused on the Asian market and is now willing to bring its experience to the US. On February 5, 2021, PlayStar NJ LLC (PlayStar Casino) and Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG) signed a four-year revenue-shared agreement for the provision of GiG’s technologies to power the PlayStar launch on the US market, New Jersey, in Q4 2021. To have a required-by-law offline presence in the state, PlayStar Casino has already partnered with Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
Aiming to provide brand-new engagement, personalization, and gambling experience, PlayStar plans to further expand in the US market in 2022. According to Adam Noble, Co-Founder and EVP of PlayStar Casino, “PlayStar Casino is setting out to offer an online casino experience with a difference that will stand out from the current offerings on the market. Our player experience focus, centered on a unique product offering, engaging frontend concept and personalization will result in an immersive and entertaining experience for the player. We have big plans for New Jersey and other US states, and look forward to making our debut in NJ later this year.”
But are there real benefits behind the speech? Let’s take a look at what PlayStar offers:
- HTML-5 games. Easily adapted for different screen resolutions, sizes, and aspect ratios, HTML-5 games are cross-platform, meaning they provide the same refined experience on mobile, PC, tablets, and whichever device you use.
- Tailor-made app. HTML5-technology aside, it’s always great to indulge in an improved UX when you’re playing on mobile – and that is on schedule with an app for both iOS and Android devices. At the same time, using the app is not obligatory – the conventional in-browser casino would look great as well.
- Utmost security. Operating in New Jersey is only possible after obtaining a license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the one signifying ironclad safety and high standards. To add to that, PlayStar games are tested by GLI and BMM Testlabs.
Both the timing of the launch and partners couldn’t be better as the online casino industry in New Jersey is on the rise with the total monthly revenue of iGaming operators exceeding $103.8 million.
